ATW's<\/span> Jerry Simmons latest analysis comes with seemingly opposing observations. EUR\/USD might have seen its prime moment and the USD Index might be preparing for a surge, which would mean AUD\/USD will find it hard to break out of its trading range. But then again, copper seems poised for more upside momentum and equities, for one, have lagged.<\/p>\n

\n\tIs copper showing the coming direction for US equities? Simmons points out, among other things, the correlation between copper and equitiesremains<\/span> incredibly high.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs far as gold is concerned, the advice is to watch US$1570\/oz closely. If this level gives in, gold could sink to much lower levels. On the other hand, gold could rise as high as US$1620\/oz and still remain inside its current "zone".<\/p>\n
