One is that the technical structures for US equities seem rather wobbly with the S&amp;<span>P500<\/span> facing a &quot;veritable brick wall&quot; in the 1220-1250 zone. The suggestion is the index might be building a base which formation can take months.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMore alarming seems Simmons&#039; analysis of gold which he observes &quot;has gone parabolic&quot;. Key price levels are US$1771 and US$1720, explains Simmons. If these levels are broken, gold would be set for a significant pull back, one that will see US$1430\/oz come into focus &quot;at a minimum&quot;, according to his technical analysis.
