But hints of a possible truce on US\/EU auto tariffs suggests resolution could be in the air.<\/p>\n<p>Wall Street has not gone anywhere lately, largely due to this uncertainty. The Australian market has consolidated following its rally, and it, too, is now bouncing around without direction.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight brings the US jobs numbers for June. The quantum is no longer the be-all and end-all, but rather wage inflation is focus this year.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, next week is a quiet one on the global calendar, notwithstanding any new trade developments.
