All hinges on whether not a trade deal can be reached by 2pm today Sydney time.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, next week the US sees retail sales, industrial production, housing sentiment and stats and consumer sentiment numbers.<\/p>\n

China will release April retail sales, industrial production and fixed asset investment data.<\/p>\n

Locally we’ll see housing finance, the NAB business and Westpac consumer confidence surveys and jobs numbers, ahead of the weekend’s election. Wednesday brings the first component of March quarter GDP, being the wage price index.<\/p>\n

On the local stock front, AusNet ((AST)), Duluxgroup ((DLX)) and Xero ((XRO)) release earnings reports and CYBG ((CYB)) quarterly earnings.<\/p>\n

Quarterly updates are due from Commonwealth Bank ((CBA)) and Goodman Group ((GMG)).<\/p>\n

AGMs will be held by InvoCare ((IVC)), Viva Energy REIT ((VVR)), Coca-Cola Amatil ((CCL)), GPT Group ((GPT)), Sigma Healthcare ((SIG)), oOh!media ((OML)) and UR Westfield ((URW)).<\/p>\n

Note that ANZ Bank ((ANZ)) and Macquarie Group ((MQG)) go ex-dividend on Monday, National Bank ((NAB)) on Tuesday and Westpac ((WBC)) on Thursday.<\/p>\n
