BERLIN<\/span>, HONG KONG<\/span> and SYDNEY<\/span>, July 19, 2021<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — SESAC Digital Licensing and BMG have expanded their partnership with new digital licensing deals for BMG’s Anglo-American repertoire in Southeast Asia<\/span> and Australia<\/span>\/New Zealand<\/span>. The expansion follows an agreement for the fast-growing Indian market in early 2019.<\/p>\n

On behalf of BMG, SESAC Digital Licensing will negotiate license agreements with international online service providers and with the leading local online service providers in the respective markets. The collaboration will ensure an efficient and accurate licensing process for online services, enabling BMG to collect and deliver revenues even more effectively and transparently for its publishing clients.<\/p>\n

Mint Digital Services (Mint) is an alliance between the US music rights organization SESAC and Swiss authors’ rights society SUISA. Mint administers license agreements for online services by drawing on a database that includes approximately 20 million documented musical works. <\/p>\n

Alongside BMG’s Anglo-American repertoire, the deal in Australia<\/span> also includes local star power with globally successful BMG publishing clients including Crowded House, Wolfmother, Alison Wonderland, JET, Peking Duk, What So Not, Ladyhawke, Cut Copy, Tyron Hapi<\/span> (co-writer and producer of Masked Wolf’s ‘Astronaut In The Ocean’), and many other multi-platinum artists from the fastest growing publishing roster in the region.<\/p>\n
